Laser wart removal

ДумкаПромовець

Hi everyone, I've had this stubborn wart on the bottom of my foot (a plantar wart) for over a year now. I've tried those over-the-counter freezing sprays and the medicated pads, but nothing works. It's getting painful to walk, like having a small pebble in my shoe. I'm considering laser wart removal, but I'm nervous about the pain and the downtime. How bad does the laser actually hurt compared to freezing? And can I walk normally the next day?

I feel your pain, literally. I had a cluster of plantar warts a few years back. The over-the-counter stuff is useless for deep warts because it only treats the surface. Laser wart removal is a different beast. The laser targets the blood vessels feeding the wart, so it cuts off its supply. Does it hurt? Yes, but it's a very fast, sharp sting – like a hot rubber band snap. The pain lasts only a split second per zap. Compared to freezing (which feels like a deep, burning cold for minutes), the laser is actually quicker. The worst part is the numbing shot they give you first – that pinch is the worst of it. After the procedure, you'll have a small crater or a black dot. You can walk, but you'll want to favor that foot for 24-48 hours. After that, it's manageable.

I had a plantar wart for two years. I tried acids, duct tape, even had it cut out once (that was brutal, and it grew back). I finally did laser treatment for wart removal, and I wish I had done it sooner. The procedure itself was maybe 10 minutes. The doc numbed the area, which stung for a second, then I felt nothing but some heat. That night, it was sore, but I iced it and kept it elevated. By day three, I was walking normally. The wart turned black and fell off like a scab after about two weeks. It's been six months, and no sign of it returning. If you want to see what the process looks like at a clean clinic, check this out: https://bellasanamedspa.com/service/laser-wart-removal. Just make sure you go to a dermatologist or a reputable med spa – this is not something for a random salon.
